The Winning Family's success in business can be attributed to many factors, however, the fundamental ingredient is a single-minded focus on client satisfaction. Old world values and integrity are the core reasons of the business surviving all the difficult times during 100 years of trading.
In 1906 Mr. Richard William Winning (founder of R.W. Winning Pty Ltd.), believing that the carriage, hardware and saddlery trade was a substantial enough industry for him to establish his own business, incorporated R.W. Winning Pty Ltd.
With a letter of introduction from the New South Wales Government confirming that he was a gentleman of high esteem and good character in the colonies, Richard Winning set off for England to secure agency agreements with suppliers in London. As 1906 came to a close Mr. Winning formed a company known then as R.W. Winning & Co., Manufacturers Representative.
Today, the Winning family retains 100% ownership of the business and trade as Winning Appliances Pty. Ltd. The management and staff of Winning Appliances have embraced the family ethos and are pleased to work for a company with such a proud tradition and history.
