As gas fan-forced ovens preheat rapidly to seal in moisture and reduce shrinkage, and electric fan-forced ovens use dry heat to reduce moisture in food, Glem Energyselect cookers give cooks more control over baking and roasting, allowing the use of gas, electricity or a combination of both in the one cooking cycle. Energyselect ovens can be quickly heated with gas and then switched to electricity for the baking cycle, and offer added convenience in case of power blackouts or gas supply interruptions.
